After Stroke Center
Serving Glendora and surrounding areas for over 50 years!

Glendora After Stroke is a nonprofit organization providing a free weekly support program for stroke survivors and their caregivers. We have a support group for stroke survivors and one for caregivers facilitated by a family therapist. We also have a relearning class for stroke survivors, as well as entertainment, educational programs, speakers, games, and field trips. The program encourages stroke survivors and their families to discover and develop skills that allow them to cope with their new roles in the family and community. Glendora After Stroke also provides an opportunity to share concerns with other group members who are facing similar issues. Oftentimes stroke survivors feel isolated and alone. We help them gain self-confidence as they strengthen their social and personal skills, maintain a hopeful, positive outlook as well as recognize the emotional aftermath from a stroke. We meet every Wednesday from 9 to 12 at La Fetra Center, 333 E Foothill Blvd from 9:00-12:00. For more information, please contact us at (626) 410-7243 or send us an email to info@afterstrokers.org
